Less is more when it comes to color coordination. For a more laid-back but still put-together vibe, incorporate accent colors in a less obvious approach. Pay attention to easy ways to incorporate low-key, chill accents into your look. Keep an eye out for subtle details that will add accent colors to your wardrobe. The blue stitching and drawstring in this hoodie are a perfect match with the hat, but since they are both simple details it doesn’t come across too strong. Just picked up both of these pieces from Life is Good and used the color details to make this look my own.

We are off to Mexico soon. My packing is always light: swimsuits and tanks. It’s a bit of a process to pick out the right suit with all the variations out there. This year I decided to roll with this black one and this printed one. Struggling what to get? Below are a few things to keep in mind:
1.) Length: Ease up on that hemline (and those tan lines). The proportions of a too-big swimsuit make you look smaller (not in a good way), so opt for something with a better fit.
2.) Print: A graphic print is the quickest way to interesting swimwear, but there is nothing more classic than stripes. It’s a toss up, but whatever you decide both look good.
3.) Color: For swimwear, black and white and everything in between is fair game. I always shoot for at least one black swim suit, and one with some color. Black brings out the tan more while the colored mixes things up.
Spring is here, time to switch out the wardrobe. Pick up a good pair of khaki shorts. They are universal and will go with about any outfit. Button ups are nice for spring still allowing air to flow through and easy to match (get this one). Always a fan of the white v-necks especially during spring and summer and these are only five bucks.
