When holiday festivities are outside as often as they are indoors, you never know how much time you’ll spend out in the cold or inside with a cup of hot chocolate so dressing for the occasion can be tricky. This season I’ve partnered with Lucky Brand to talk about finding the perfect outfit for all holiday festivities.

Layer up:  Stick to a lot of layers that you can take on and off as needed to adjust. Every guy should own a denim jacket – it’s a good piece you can wear year-round and not just during the holidays. A light hoodie is another good option to transition between festivities. You can also throw on a cool bomber or leather jacket for another layer that works for dressy or casual occasions.

Warm winter accessories: It’s always smart to have a neutral beanie or scarf in your car. They add a lot of warmth and having them on hand for those holiday activities will always pay off.

Good boots: A good leather boot will get a lot of wear for the holidays. It works with a sweatshirt and jeans or a sport coat and button down so it’s really versatile and can transition for whatever any holiday dress code. This pair from Lucky is really comfortable for walking around checking out the lights in the city. They have more great boots to choose from here.
