I like to keep it casual but some events call for a dress shirt and tie,  here are a few ways to dress it down while still looking presentable.

1.) Start from the bottom up. Instead of building your look around a shirt and tie, start with your shoes (a cool sneaker in a neutral color is a good start).

2.) Denim. Swap your slacks for jeans. Just got these skinnies (under a $100) they are super stretchy and comfortable.

3.) Don’t forget to untuck. It’s really that easy. Wearing your button up untucked instantly makes it more relaxed.

4.) Split with silk. If you still dread the idea of a tie outside the office, consider a knit tie – it reads more casual than a classic silk tie. This one is under$15.

Thanks for stopping by.
