It’s crazy how much we’ve come to rely on technology, from setting my alarm in the morning, to working from home, and to keep us entertained with movies or music at night. There are only so many hours in a day, so I try to knock out as much as I can before the kids wake up, whether it’s hitting the gym, playing my morning podcasts on my Google Home, or organizing my schedule for the day. My secret to making the most of the limited hours in the day is time-blocking. I’m always setting aside specific blocks of time during my schedule for specific projects. By giving yourself a certain time-frame to get things done, you don’t have time to procrastinate and nothing gets ignored or pushed back. Having a responsive schedule with the Google Home always keeps me on track by alerting me when it’s time to switch projects and reminding me what else I have going on throughout the day.
Working from home has it’s perks, but it can also be hard to turn it off and disconnect to hang with family so you gotta know when to turn it off. With Google Wifi, you can control everything through an app – including pausing WiFi on specific devices. It’s extreme, but for those days when you have family activities planned and can’t seem to disconnect from work, it’s great to be able to pause wifi on your devices (or your kids) to make the most of the time together.
Thanks for following.
