How To Travel on a Budget Pt. 1

There are many things to consider when you travel on a budget. How much do I want to spend? Where Do I want to go? Where do I want to stay? I am always being questioned on where to go and what to see. That’s why I want to share my tips and tricks on budgeted traveling In three Parts.

1. Budget:

It doesn’t take a fortune to travel. There is a good chance that you are already making enough money. The problem is you just spend it in other places. Budgeting takes discipline, but you can do it! Some apps that I use when I budget are Mint, Daily Budget Original, and Fudget. These apps are simple to use and user-friendly. Also, Budget Backwards, take the final picture and work backward to achieve your goal.

2. Book the Right Room:

Know when and where to book your hotel. I usually book two to three months in advance. There are also agencies and websites to help make finding a hotel easier. Travelocity is my favorite. but there are other greats that can help you save hundreds. Hotels, Kayak, and booking are others I have used. Trip Advisor also is a go-to before you book. They show you real-time, unedited pictures of what you can expect before showing up to your room. Book a room that has a kitchen and then cook two meals a day. I usually cook breakfast and dinner. It’ll all save you money in the end.
